LifeType recently added a feature that allows you to manage the display order or your articles.   If you happen to go in and edit one of your blog settings (Like I just did) you may accedentially trigger this feature.   When this happens you will see your first post to your blog listed at the top or your posts display.   To set it back go into your blog settings (Control Centre -> Blog Settings) and change Articles order to "Newest First".

I have found an error in the email settings for LifeType.   If you suddenly start get email from the blogging system that is the reason.

I've updated LifeType to the newest code and it seems to be working great.   There are a few new additions to the software that I think are very nice.

The full list is here  but the nicest addition so far is the built in mp3 player.   You can now upload and link mp3 files to your albums and have them play right on your blog page.   Sweet!

Example:   This is track 2 of the Sept 14, 2006 Widespread Panic show

I used this because it is a pretty big file (9.6MB) and it seems to work nice.

Enjoy!

I modified the RSS pages to display a friendlier RSS screen with a stylesheet I grabbed from the web.   I think it is a nice change and I hope to do more in this regard.   Maybe the podcasts feed too.   Check it out by clicking the RSS 2.0 links on any of the pages.

Cheers!

The new version of LifeType has a very nice anti-spam system to control the flood of comment spam.   I've been watching how the system labels incoming spam after the upgrade and am impressed that it has not incorrectly labeled a legit message.    Sweet.   Due to the huge number of spam attempts that come in every day I've configured the system to delete any comments it thinks is spam.   There is no reason that any person should have to wade through 50 fake comments of junk.

Let me know if you get any reports of legit messages being labeled as Spam and deleted by the system.

 Cheers!
