Milne Library News

The front doors of Milne Library are now operational.  The new tile is installed in the foyer as well as on the staircase.  Jazzman's café will be closed until the start of classes next week.  Please use the main doors to access the library.

After several weeks of programming, compiling and implementing suggestions, the new Milne Library website is ready to go!  While there is quite a change in appearance, we hope the new improved layout will increase the ease of finding information on our website.  Please take a few minutes to provide feedback on the new design at:  http://its.oneonta.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1187066012369.  Thank you!

The outer doors are currently being installed in the library entrance and it will be a few more weeks before the front entrance is complete. However, the tile work in the foyer and first floor stairs is complete, so the main elevator and the main stairwell are now open!

The library is being outfitted with new front doors and new tiling in the entryway. The end result is going to be a fine facelift of the library entrance, but during the summer entry into the library will be through Jazzman's Cafe.  For part of the construction period, the elevator from the first floor will be unavailable. Access to the lower and upper floors from the first floor will be through the central fire stairwell, and through the fire stairwells on either end of the building. We apologize for the inconveniences. If you need to use an elevator please ask at the Circulation or the Reference desk and we'll be happy to help you. Jazzman's will not be open during the summer.
