Daniel G. Payne, English Department, presented a paper entitled “Finding a Place for the Humanities in an Environmental Sciences Program” at the 128th Annual Convention of the Modern Language Association (MLA), held in Boston, Massachusetts from January 3-6, 2013. His paper was presented as part of a panel on “English and the Humanities in an Age of Accountability: Notes from the Small College Department,” chaired by Dr. Mark Long of Keene State College in New Hampshire.
