Women’s History Month Mini-Conference – March 4

The CSEA Local 635 Women’s Committee is pleased to announce a mini-conference in celebration of Women’s History Month.  On Monday, March 4th at 2:30Dr. Leslie Breiten will present “Women and Obesity” followed by Dr. Michael Rockefeller presenting “Mindfulness and Alternative Medicine” at 3:30—both of which will be held in Morris 104.  Beginning at 4:30, a light reception in the Otsego Grille will precede the 5:30 keynote presentation by Dr. Penelope Andrews, Dean and President of Albany Law School, “From Cape Town to Kabul:  Reflections on Global Women’s Advocacy and Law.”  Dr. Andrews’s presentation is part of the Ralph Watkins Lecture Series.  This event has been organized and funded by the CSEA Local 635 Women’s Committee and is open to all members of our campus community.  For further information, please contact the Women’s Committee Chair, Kelly Spettel, x3326.   For additional information please view the flyer by  clicking  on the following link:  womenshistoryminiconferencegeneralfinal
