F. Daniel Larkin (History), Thomas Beal (History), and Will Walker (Cooperstown Graduate Program) are the new editors of the journal New York History.  Their first issue appeared this month, with articles on African American education in antebellum New York City, slavery and the Constitution, and Irish immigration.  The next issue will feature articles on New York State and the Civil War.  New York History has been published continuously since 1919 and is the only journal devoted entirely to the history of the Empire State.  SUNY Oneonta is partnering with the New York State Historical Association to revitalize this venerable journal.
