The Cooperstown Crier provided page 1 coverage to the volunteer SCUBA diving completed by Kaylee Herzog and Christian “Chris” Trapani while the snow was flying on Sunday , 14 April.  The two SUNY-Oneonta undergraduates were part of teams that deployed no-wake zone buoys in Otsego Lake demarking a 200-foot no-wake zone for boaters.  The no-wake zone minimizes shoreline erosion and protects swimmers.   No-wake zone buoy deployments are one of the services offered by the SUNY-Oneonta Biological Field Station (BFS) Volunteer Dive Team.
