Geography Department Faculty Present at National Conference

Tracy Allen, Trevor Fuller, Ken Johnson, Tyra Olstad, and  Naomi Shanguhyia, all from the Department of Geography, gave paper presentations at the Association of American Geographers 2013 Annual National Conference in Los Angeles. Respectively, the presentation titles were:   “New Island and Electric Lake: A Landscape in Transition (100 Years of Ecological and Hydroseral Succession)”, “Environmental Activism and the Political Economy of Place”, “Restructuring the Eurozone”, “Paleontological Resource Management on Public Lands”, and “Interrogating Competing Narratives of Landscape Change: The Case of Forest Loss and Reforestation efforts on the Maragoli Hills in Western Kenya”.  Their presentations were funded by Faculty Development grants.
