William A. Starna, Emeritus Anthropology, was an invited discussant at the Algonquian Peoples Seminar held on 28 September at the New York State Museum. Addressed was the manner in which the aboriginal boundaries of American Indian groups are assessed, including the Mahican Indians of the Hudson Valley, for the purposes of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act of 1990.
