Support 2013 SEFA/United Way Campaign
As the semester is drawing to a close, SUNY Oneonta’s 2013 SEFA/United Way Campaign enters the homestretch. As of this writing, we are over $6,400 shy of what our campus raised during the 2012 campaign. If you have not yet done so, please consider making a payroll deduction or a one-time donation to help those less fortunate.
The needs of our local, regional and national communities continue to rise, placing a tremendous strain on charitable agencies. While we understand that many of our own may also be affected by our challenging economic times, for as little as $1/paycheck (far less than the cost of a cup of coffee), or by making a one-time contribution of any amount, you can make a real difference. Employees can give to organizations that are located in their own back yards – whether in the Oneonta area or elsewhere – or to regional, state or national organizations. The choices are many, but the most important choice is the one to participate.
Visit http://www.oneonta.edu/sefa/ for a downloadable pledge form, as well as a link to the participating SEFA Agencies List. You can also make your pledge in person on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and Thursday, Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., when members of the 2013 SEFA/United Way Campaign Team will host an information table in the Netzer lobby to help employees complete the paperwork for payroll deductions or one-time contributions. Please help to show what a caring community SUNY Oneonta is by donating whatever you are able to. If you already have contributed to the 2013 SEFA/United Way Campaign, we offer our thanks for your generosity.
