The Catskill Area School Study Council announces the registration period is open for the Spring SAT Prep course, as well as a special Science Seminar for students in grades 9 through 11.

The SAT Prep class is a six-week class for high school juniors (as well as interested sophomores as space permits).  It takes place on the SUNY Oneonta campus on six consecutive Saturday mornings beginning January 18, 2014 and includes a text and CD-ROM.

The Science Seminar is a special four-week course designed for students in grades 9 through 11.  It is designed and led by SUNY Oneonta’s Noyce Scholars.  This spring’s topic is “The Chemistry of Food.”  This class also takes place on Saturday mornings on the SUNY Oneonta campus (beginning January 18, 2014) and runs for four consecutive Saturdays.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, January 8, 2014.  Students must register through their school district’s guidance office, and districts must be members of the Catskill Area School Study Council in order for their students to participate.
