College Administrator Elected to CASE Board
Paul Adamo, vice president for college advancement at SUNY Oneonta and executive director of the College at Oneonta Foundation, has been elected to the regional governing body of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). He will serve on the board of directors of CASE District 2, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Ontario, Canada. During the first year of his two-year term, Adamo also will serve as chair of the organization’s Venture Capital Fund.
CASE is an international association of educational institutions. Its members, from more than 3,400 colleges and universities worldwide, advance alumni relations, communications, development and marketing practices. The CASE Venture Capital Fund provides grant awards to member institutions to fund innovative and collaborative professional development opportunities.
Adamo administers fund raising, development, alumni affairs, grants development and the Center for Economic and Community Development at SUNY Oneonta. In 2007, he led the college in its conclusion of a comprehensive campaign that raised over $12 million for scholarships, endowment and campus programs. He has served as a member of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Oneonta Rotary Club and is the past president of the Ricky J. Parisian Memorial Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors.
