The SUNY Oneonta Department of Theatre and the Mask and Hammer Theatre Club will present “Fuddy Meers,” a comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire, from October 9-14.

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 9-13, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, in the Hamblin Theater of the Fine Arts Building on campus.

Directed by Dr. Andrew Kahl, associate professor of theatre, the play depicts a day in the life of Claire, a middle-aged wife and mother with a rare form of amnesia that erases her memory whenever she falls asleep. A zany adventure filled with bizarre characters and outrageous plot twists ensues in this dark comedy about miscommunication and the disruptions of personal trauma.

The show contains strong language and potentially offensive subject matter. Tickets ($5 general admission or free with a student ID) can be reserved at and picked up at the Hunt Union Information desk at any time, or at the Fine Arts box office an hour before curtain on performance days.
